Problems of a perfectionist
Hi y'all,
I just wanted to say sorry I've been a bit MIA as of late. I think I got a bit sidetracked in regards to what I wanted to achieve with this blog........instead of producing a blog/outlet for me to share my experiences; regarding food and is affects on my skin, health and general well-being........ I seem to have ended up just posting the odd recipe here and there.
In my typical Virgo style I have wanted and tried to make everything perfect before putting it out there and this has resulted in creating a disconnect between me and the reader(if there are any...sorry still working on my self-love).
Trying to make everything pristine and high quality it restricted me in how much I could blog; as each post would take soooo long. Now don't get me wrong, wanting things to be right and having a clear vision and focus is not always a bad thing; however when it becomes overwhelming and all encompassing is when you know you have taken it too far. I am not ashamed to admit that I am an easily stressed person...but when I realised that writing a post was causing anxiety...or more so NOT writing a post was even worse...I figured I need to check myself :p

I have recently come across other people in the health industry (via YouTube or articles) describing the same situation.........there advice was to just do it, just write, record, whatever....just get it out there...and be consistent.....so here I am.
From now on I am going to post regularly; whether it be a recipe, a great product I've found, a new fitness craze...or just my daily thoughts, feelings or inspiration........
